Expect improving conditions into the week

Some wind damage reports after late Saturday night storms.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A line of storms moved in late Saturday evening with a few stronger to severe storms that caused some wind damage.  There was a report of a large tree branch that fell and brought down power lines in Lockport. And another report out of Barker of a transformer and wires down sparking. Also in Patchin, a tree was reported down near Cole Road.  And in La Salle a tree fell on a garage on 80th street.

A few showers and isolated storms on Sunday otherwise partly sunny.

And the heat will break late Sunday after a cold front passes through. Next week is looking much more comfortable in the 70s and some sunshine, after showers on Monday.
