Cattaraugus County road closed after tanker truck flips over

While the tanker had 8,500 gallons of fuel inside, firefighters say none of it leaked into the Allegheny River nearby.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY, N.Y. — A road in Cattaraugus County is still closed after this tanker truck flipped over on Wednesday morning.

It happened around 8:30 on South Nine Mile Road in Limestone, near the 219 exit of I-86.

And while the tanker had 8,500 gallons of fuel inside, firefighters say none of it leaked into the Allegheny River nearby.

No one was hurt, and the road was expected to be open sometime Wednesday evening.
